St George Community (SGC) is a government funded, not-for-profit organisation that has provided safe, reliable social support and transport for older people, people with disability and their carers and private customers since 1983.

We are looking for casual drivers who can provide safe, reliable and comfortable transport for all clients in accordance with the service’s policies and procedures and complying with all traffic and related legislation.

The position requires an LR licence, satisfactory safe driving record, Drivers Authorisation or willingness to complete during probationary period, current First Aid Certificate, a cleared health assessment, well-developed written and verbal communication skills, time management skills and ability to communicate effectively to people with disability and their carers.

The successful candidate must undergo an NDIS worker screening check prior to commencement. As EEO employer we welcome applications from NESB and ATSI backgrounds.

Support Worker - Casual

St George Community (SGC) is a government funded, not-for-profit organisation that has provided safe, reliable social support and transport for older people, people with disability and their carers and private customers since 1983.

About the role

The primary purpose of this position is to provide one on one support to our older consumers and NDIS participants to assist them to reach their goals and continue to live independently in their own homes. Support Workers will be required to deliver in-home services (including personal care), one on one support and assistance to access the community.

Services are provided 7 days per week.

We are looking for support workers that :

  • available Weekdays & Weekend
  • available for 15 – 20 hours per week
  • have their own vehicle with full class C Licence

The successful candidates must undergo an NDIS Worker Screening check prior to commencement.
